The sun is shining and the view from the balcony is beautiful - wrap up warm for a spring seaside break on Hayling Island. With beautiful coastal walks and all the attractions of Portsmouth and Southsea nearby, it is the perfect place for a family adventure.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard offers a fantastic day out and, because there is far too much to see in one day, one set of tickets can last for a whole year for unlimited visits. Or, if you are staying for longer, a Portsmouth Pass may suit you, affording you entry to the Dockyard and The Mary Rose for a year and a one-off visit to the Spinnaker Tower and The D-Day Story. There is so much to explore, whatever the weather.
Back on Hayling Island, the delicious food at The Inn on the Beach is a treat - book early as it is busy and popular and the view out across is the sea is terrific (almost as good as the one from Seascape... !) Or, if fish and chips is likely to hit the spot, The Coastguard take-away is close to the house and is scrumptious.
We still have some availability during March and April - come and explore!
